Very cool - great job. I must say though - I would be tempted to put a roof over the upside down cordless ones to slow down the dust accumulation in the battery slot. :thumbup:

Looks great. I prefer to have the tools in a cabinet but that looks great is a heck of a lot cheaper. I confess I read the thread to find out what a French Cleat was. Now I've learned something today.

Fabulous build! I love so many aspects of this project...
- infinite reconfigurability (I'm getting ready to do that with metal in my shop)
- custom brackets and holders (easy to upgrade when you change tools)
- stunning build quality (great craftsmanship there)
- unique ideas from universally available sheet goods
- thinking outside the box on tool storage

Really very well done. It is clear you have put a lot of thought and effort into that setup. I'll bet it is a real pleasure to use every day.

Always liked that setup, they can hold a lot of weight and the boards are easily changed.

First time I saw that it was in a ceramic tile show room. A natural for them, when it came time to remove any discontinued displays.
