It would be so cool to cruise France in any of your rides! Just found your thread and it's one of the best. Could spend hours just looking at the displays. Thank you for sharing. JT

For fill up the tank of cadillac, it cost about 135 € >> 98 $ for full.

When gasoline was around $4/gal my wife's daily driver cost over $100 for a fill up !

P.S. I would love to know the whole story on how that Caddy made it to France !

A little break in the presentation of vehicles, I post to you a fabrication of a light sign.

I recovered this old sign and made a support with lighting...

Very nice. Is your home next to the garage on the same property, or is the garage off-site? What are the black plastic looking things that appear to go under your slab?

Yes, my home is next to the garage on the same property, I'll post a picture of the whole.

The black plastic under the slab is a lost formwork.

Very nice!

Somebody commented that you would not be able to get an American car in your garage. You proved them wrong! That Cadillac is one of the biggest American cars.

Google translate

Quelqu'un a fait remarquer que vous ne seriez pas en mesure d'obtenir une voiture américaine dans votre garage. Vous avez prouvé qu'ils avaient tort! Que Cadillac est l'un des plus grands voitures américaines.

Oh it's uncommon to have or receive free objects, especially with rising prices in this domain...

But, I must confess you that I did some good deals as the pair of gas pumps for example...

Recently, I've arranged the middle under my work plan, I've put a shelf for some cans and got out my old welding machine, I've put it in one of my tool boxes

Fantastic build and I love your eclectic selection of toys--especially the 1968 Cadillac! A friend had a 1968 Fleetwood when we were in college (he still has it) and that car would really move when he put his foot down, even with a bunch of guys in it. The 472 is an amazing engine and can easily make another 50hp with just an intake manifold change--the original has the base of the carb below the intake runners for the heads.

I have just spent the morning reading thru your through your thread
you have built a very nice garage and workshop
I like the sign and oil collections that you have and enjoyed looking at the presentation of it all
I have been looking for a way to display my small battery chargers and love how you have done yours. I may have to use your example

Thanks Don

This is because the radio is old, since the 60s, it was marked with frequencies.

Looks great! Very well done!

As much as I love all of your cars, oddly enough I'm most jealous of your quad-cab Ranger... or is called a Courier over there? Either way, I really want one. Always been upset that they weren't sold in the US.

Love the pictures of the cars....brings back some memories. I currently have a 2002 V8 X5, but had a few of those E21 3 series cars, including a race car.

You didn't post pics of the interior of the 3 series other than the radio, but in the US, there was an "S" package for that car, that came with a sport steering wheel and very nice Recaro seats. It either came in black vinyl, or a very nice dark grey cloth. You'd have to find an entire interior including door cards and rear seats to do it right, but that's an awesome, and very period correct upgrade for an E21 3 series. I'd hold out for the much nicer grey cloth.

Also, if you're motivated for a bit more power in the 323i, the bottom end from the American E30 325e will mate up to your 2.3L cylinder head with little effort, bumping displacement up to 2.8L. I have seen a number of these combinations, and it can work very well....and will look 100% stock.

Thank for your comment.

Here is the interior of my e21 323i :

Here the interior of 323i was like for others e21 (black, dark blue, dark and light brown...), recaro seat, vinyl and sport steering wheel were optional...
