Frist time Ebay buy

Although I'm not new to wrenching, I'm fairly new to this forum and kinda new to Ebay too. After looking, I have seen so many wonderful things there. So...yesterday I bid and today I won. Here it is, total with shipping $22.45. I want an honest opinion. How did I do? The ad never said exactly how old this was. Anyone know? # 71 - M

Elroy is right if you look at the pic he posted you will see what appears to be a 4 to my blind eyes. The are a few date sheets floating around here. Each year had a differently made number for it. The last date sheet I saw went up to about 2029 and started in 1927. Snap on aims on being around for a while.

I think you got a fair deal. I don't think it was a steal by any means, but you did pretty good IMO.

I was talking to the Snap-On dealer just last week about date codes. He said they no longer use them. :confused: I was somewhat skeptical about that when he said it. Anything to this?:headscrat
