I've asked a bunch of questions on drywall, racedeck etc recently.. figured I should show what I've done with your advice.

Started with the mess seen around the 2002..

Wood paneling, hidden with posters.. Yanked that out

and exposed old damaged drywall...

Repaired that over 2 weeks here and there - I would never do it again. It's much easier to put in new drywall than patch, repatch, prime, nothing more dings, patch again, etc...
Then I got some racedeck - sadly the alloy tiles came defective, but Racedeck made good on it and 4 days later I finished the floor. I tiled over the ugly wood ramps and screwed those down - works a treat... I have 3 tiles left - how's that for estimating ? ;-)

Left to do: Baseboard, more LED, more paint. Some new cabinets... A sink in the back, the back wall drywall (new this time - I can learn!!). But for now I can park cars in there again !

Looking good, and beautiful 2002. Specs? Those appear to be some big tires for an '02... :) Love the color!

Thanks. I did not have a pic of the ugly garage "before" without the 2002. It had just come back from repaint so part of the mess was re-assembly.... Those are indeed too big tires (195s) but mostly ill-fitting wheels (offset sold to me as correct, but not). Specs - bog standard 73 but Fuel injected with 318 bits and a modern computer, 5 speed box, E30 LSD, cooling mods, Recaros. Nothing visible from the outside basically, but Tii power (or more) with more reliability. The alfa is its italian cousin. Basically the same car, sexier but less comfortable ergonomics.
