Was able to buy 16' of Bank Cabinets, i used 12' on this run. Put down Pressure Treated Frame, left them off the wall, as they are only 20" deep. They have Ball Bearing Drawer Slides.

Nice score. I was just looking at friend of mine who scored a couple of bank cabinets, the doors on them were very thick too. Those will make nice tool vaults. lol

Sweet - excellent score! Looks bullet proof. You're ******* the GJ USuck meter on this one. (like the old Queen for a Day meter)

That is too sweet to be believed.

It is a great example of my preaching to look out for your local auctions, going out of business sales, etc.
Cash and a truck will get you some great deals.

I know, "I ****".
No upper Cabinets. Bought off Craigs, from a Gentleman who run a Eurporen Sports Car Shop out of a Big Old Metal Dairy Pole Barn. He is scaling back from 6 guys to 2.
I have OSB on lower, Sheetrock above. Trying to come up with a Backsplash material to cover area between Bench Top and Red Board.
For the Benchtop, i have 2"x4'x8' Hardwood out of a School Shop, we took out of Dumpster w/permission. Going to Cut down to 30"x8'. Should be fun, as it has Angle Iron sides with Steel Rods across.
For the Right side of benchtop, may use Solid Surface countertop. Have some taken out of "99" restaurant rehab dumpster with permission.

Jealous.

I really like the angle iron around the top. I may have to steal this idea.

Very, very nice.

Someone in one of the above post mentioned the TV show "Queen For A Day" made me laugh. Many years ago my parents took me to Disneyland and while we were in So Cal we went to a taping of Queen for a day and Truth or Consequences. Wow, that was a few years ago............ Anyway, my buddy worked for BofA in the warehouse and got me 10 storage cabinets ( the beige ones in the picture) 18"D x 36"W with shelves and keyed alike for the garage, very sturdy. It is amazing the deals that were offered back in the day.
