Well, this forum is quickly becoming my favorite website(next to my firearms websites).

After years of not having a garage, and being forced to work inside an enclosed trailer or shed, we're closing on a house with a somewhat unusual garage.

The house is built into a hill, and has a 2 story, 6+ car garage. The lower level, which measures about 1700 sq/ft will be used as a shop. I've been spending a ton of time here getting ideas for finishing it off.

The house was a foreclosure, and needs some TLC and finish work. I think given our need to upgrade, the interest rates, and the price per sq/ft, we did ok.

Thanks for the compliments and welcomes guys!! More house than I wanted. I was fine living in our manufactured house on 30 acres, but the prospect of building a garage, along with the other improvements the old house needs, just didn't make sense.

No the wife is happy with a new house, and I have a garage.

Welcome to 'The Gun Collector' and a very big 'YOU ****' to you sir! Of course, we all want to see pictures of the interiors, both house and shop.

I always feel badly for those families who were foreclosed upon. But at the same time, its gratifying to see families get a home which, before the recession, would be impossible to own without undue financial hardship. May it be a happy home for you and yours!

P.S. What is your favorite gun website? I'm a newbie in that regard and I would like to find a site for handguns as good the GJ is for gear heads. I've got my C.W.P.; now if only my back-ordered Kel-Tec FP9-HC would come in...
