From what I have been told it is like an upside down cake, imagine the middle of the slap underneath with a 10' diameter cavity. There is ~5-6" less concrete in that cavity which creates an air pocket so to speak. Between the summer and winter the slab will fluctuate by 2 or 3 inches in height. Therefore preventing any cracks or separation in the floor,
and it is smooth! I'll post a .jpg when I get a chance. Anyone else heard of this please tell me what you have been told.
I bought this house last August and I did not record the movement for myself last year, but will this year. I am the third owner of this house/shed since 76'. Previous owners are still around so I do not have any reason yet not to believe. The only thing I have had small issues is from the impurities from the gas well....
