From lurker to participant

OK, I've been lurking around here for a while and it's time to start participating.

My wife and I live near Raleigh NC. I have the normal suburb house with a 2-car garage and 2 sheds. The garage and one of the sheds is full of my '56 Nomad project, currently stalled since I'm am doing a lot of work on the house.

The other thing is we own 50 acres of land in the Allegheny Mountains of western Va. I have been working on getting some land improvements done, and the next step is to build my shop. The driveway is done and septic is underway. If you build a minimum 400 square-foot building, the power company will run the power back for free. With the home and shop site being 1000 feet from the road this is very important to me.

So follow along as I get this thing rolling. I'll post some pics as soon as I pick a hosting site. For now they are all on my computer.

Thanks for the welcome TK! I'll find some time this weekend to post some pics of the property we have.

I am going up to see a contractor this weekend about clearing the shop/home site on top of the ridge. I'll start a new thread and post some pics when I get back.
