Hello all!
In October we purchased an 80acre farm in glenville pa. This is the start of us moving rural, homesteading, preparing, and many more things. We bought the farm from the original owner who acquired the land in 1890. Now we are remodeling the 1905 farmhouse.
It has one large garage with 3 work shops attached. Currently it's somewhat functional but it will need some updating. (Roof leaks fixed, heat, insulation, power redone- some power is new and some is the old knob&tube, and a good cleaning- previous owner left a lot of stuff) in the 1930s this garage/workshop was an operational wood mill. (There are wood beams poured into the concrete in the floor)
Hope to get great advice and share my day to day goings ons here.
