I have been setup with a problem...I don't have a garage.
Just bought a house a back in November and I am I am going through looking on ideas and figuring out what I want. Funny thing is that my original requirement was to have a garage but the place we found we could not pass up for the price. So for now I am keeping my summer car in my fathers garage until I can get one. Really aggravating so far...
So being a car guy I figured this would actually end up being perfect since I can actually build it to how I want. Course as long as the near future wife is ok with it. So I am going to be visiting here and there to see what you guy recommend. Unfortunately I probably won't be able to even look into even building one till next year but I would like to take the year to start planning.
So far I am fairly for certain is a 40x30 3 car and will have a lift. I might try to make it a bit wider as one of the bays will be the work area bay. In additional to the normal car lift I would like to also look for a I beam for for lifting engines and such. My uncle had one and I used to love pulling and installing with it for my Camaro.
So anyways so far I have gotten a lot of interesting info and I am starting to learn google sectchup so I hope to be able to share designs and such. Thanks!
