Welcome uncle thuan! I love your avatar, I'm glad you posted photos of the wrenches in it. Thanks for all your photos. Are there any tools from north america you search for or would like to find?

That bearing puller you have is quite interesting and it looks like you have many adapters for different sized bearings. I've never seen that type before.

When I had a pretty badly broken leg I got some crutches; "Made in Vietnam"; boy was I surprised! They worked fine. I still have them; but don't plan to use them any more. (ha ha).

Uncle Thuan: quite a collection of tools you got. BTW, you're not related to Uncle Ho Chi Minh, are you? LoL

Kaka, not related but Ho Chi Minh is Vietnamese Uncle. Thanks for great question!

Chao mung chu Thuan

Cool Vietnamese! Nice to meet you!

I don't understand Vietnamese, but I recognize the expressions. I'm an engineer too (up through Ph.D level). Then I became an attorney.
Wow, you got high education. Do you like engineer or like attorney??

I think you meant hoisin (sauce) ...

btw .. pretty good tool collection

Thank you!

Wow, nice growing tool collection…love the thread.

I spent a month in Saigon and the surrounding areas as well; Cambodia, Thailand etc. but Vietnam was amazing. And I definitely have to agree about the food!

My favorite among the others…Pho, Banh Mi, and the coffee I think is: bun thit nuong.

Welcome to the forum. Looking forward to more posts.

Seen like you were in Vietnam in Tet holiday?? Thanks and hope you come back!

Welcome to the forum.

Southern California has many people from VN, lots of places for Pho. Friends of my wife took her for seven courses of beef, but most of the time, about once a week we pick up Banh Mi. My favorite is Spam and scrambled eggs, wife sticks to grilled pork.

Look like you talk about Orange County. Have you come to Little Saigon in Orange County? I hear some people take about that place.

I would like to find fine Metric system tools, American left most Inch system tools and we rarely use them because Vietnam follow the old world. Would you help me??

I don't know the bearing puller came from the war or after??

Till now i still don't know what is right situation to hold this drill??

The corner brace is in real good condition compared to most of the ones I see around here. Picture yourself in the corner of the room and needing to drill a hole through the wall but very close to the other wall. A normal brace must be used about 8" from the call but the corner brace can be used an inch or so away. They were also popular for drilling holes in floor joists to run wires through. Electric drills have replaced them now but they're still nice to have and are completely cordless.

I like those Hitco screwdrivers. They look like pretty good ones.
We call the Z type screw drivers Offset screw drivers.

I'll send you a PM regarding metric tools and shipping.
