Front seal blown on compressor

Hi everyone!
My 2004 Saturn Vue had its compressor go out, blown front seal. So we bought a new one and the valve that goes with it and put it in. Took it to a shop to have it charged and it was blowing snow balls for the 5 minute drive home. Yay! Except the next drive, it wasn't blowing cold anymore. After taking a look, the new compressor has blown the same seal. What can be causing this, or is it just an annoying coincidence?

You need to talk to the shop that charged the system. They may or may have not pulled a vacuum on the system, I'm leaning towards not. They should have found the leak or told you about it before they sent you down the road.

Ask for your money back or make them find the leak.

It could be that it was over charged. Was the comp a re-manufacture?
