******SOLD*******

I'm selling an awesome 8 piece Matco screwdriver set (#SSPC08C). It is as close to brand new as you can get (unused but a couple were "test driven" maybe once). They are made in Germany.

They are still in their original plastic tray and I have the box but it is a little rough looking.

#3 x 6" phillips
#2 x 7" phillips
#2 x 4" phillips
#1 x 3" phillips
3/16 x 3" flat
1/4 x 4" flat
5/16 x 6" flat
3/8 x 8" flat

This set sells off the truck for $147.40

Thanks!!

those are nice. What is the texture of the gray stuff, felt?
No, it isn't soft. I used some well worn drivers in that style and that part had a rough, hard texture for grip. They may be a little softer/grippier when new.

They have a very nice feel IMO. I actually like them more than my hard handle Williams(Snap-Ons).

He's right, it isn't really soft. It's more of a fine grit sand paper feel than it is felt.

lol, I was going to say that it had a sandpaper feel but I thought it would sound bad. They don't feel uncomfortable, it just adds grip in dirty situations(and it works!).

I have a few of these and I have to say that they are some of the most comfortable screwdrivers I have ever used. I rank them up there with a Wiha set that I have at work.

The ones I have don't feel like sandpaper. They feel like felt. That seems strange.

Yeah, I have a couple that are well worn and they go from a sandpaper like feel to a softer feel with use. The handle shape really lends itself well to applying heavy torque. They are definitely very nice!!

Good luck with the sale, I have a set and grab them before I grab my Snap-On.
I agree. I started out hunting for a set of these but couldn't find a set in my price range so I settled for Craftsman pros. Now I have Williams as well but I still prefer these Matcos.

Hell Moose, I've been working 2 jobs for the last 10 years or more, just trying to make ends meet...I have 7 kids, 1 of whom is in college ($22,000 a year) and one is in a special school for autistic children ($45,000 this year)...I feel your pain.

Somebody buy these screwdrivers, they're great!

Wow Dave, you definitely have your hands full. It sounds like you've really mastered the concept of sacrificing for your kids. My hat's off to you.

BTW, thanks everyone for helping me push these screwdrivers. They really are very nice.

If I didn't already have a set, I'd jump on them. Very nice product...and I have abused the hell out of mine and they just take it and come back for more.

Where are they located? What would shipping be to 26101? Are you open to offers?

Shipping is going to cost me around $10 give or take (by priority mail). At this time, the best I can do is split the shipping with the buyer and sell them for $80 shipped (to lower 48).

I seriously doubt that you'll regret it. I don't know why I don't see more praise about these screwdrivers!
