Well, I was wrong in saying there were several threads on "those units". Should have said there are several threads on those types of units.

Sorry I interjected without any useful information, and suggesting you run a search... here, let me help...

I spent a few seconds, did a single search here on GJ for "antique compressors". One thread hit that came up is this one- http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=27378&highlight=antique+compressor . Thread posts #35-41 have info on a Curtis. I didn't read beyond that, the thread may have more info.

I'm sure if you spent a few minutes trying different search keywords and digging through some of the other compressor threads, you can find out more.

I spent another few seconds and plugged a search for "Curtis Compressor C90 CFM" into Google. Got lots of hits on this forum, other forums, parts suppliers, etc. all pertaining to a Curtis C90 compressor. Read two forum posts under one search result and found that they were (mostly) a 3hp compressor run off a 3-phase motor, putting out about 12 CFM. Not sure if that is how yours is/was set up or not, but hopefully that information is useful.

Sorry for coming off as a little snippy Kansei. I did an extensive search and read every thread that pertained to "curtis compressor" already. Lots of questions...not much hard info. I talked to Ken @ Airflo Inc. and got that it is around 17.4 CFM when spun by a 5HP motor. Gaskets and a few bearings and bushings are still available, but no hard parts at all(pistons, rods, valves and such). Hope this helps someone else. I paid $50 for the C90 in the photos, so I don't have much invested.:D

I was looking for a motor and the guy made me take the compressor too. It apears to be a curtis c90, however the intercooler got bent. I was looking for a replacement but I have not had any luck. I might part mine out and sell it off. I don't know yet. I will add pictures later. Dave
