FS Curtis Compressors thoughts/reviews

Hey guys,
I'm looking at a 800-900 dollar range compressor for my small shop at my home I run air tools and paint from time to time and wanted to know thoughts on this compressor for a hobbyist.

At a quick glance it seems like a decent enough unit. Wish they listed more specs though.

That's a good setup for someone like you.

The pump looks like the big brother of the popular US made Campbell Hausfeld two cylinders pump that they used to slap on various brands. The motor is looks like the US made Century Electric (3600rpm, 5hp) and they're very affordable (<$200) if you need replacement. The pump can be very easy to service.

The weak point of that setup is that Condor pressure switch, even though it's the newer style, it can burn out. The thing is - everybody uses Condor brand pressure switch. The good thing is, you can find replacement easily.
