I have a black KRL1201APC in excellent condition for sale in the San Diego area. I got it as a package deal with a KRL7022. I do not need the top box and am seeking to unload it for $2200. I knew I probably didn't need it when i bought it - these boxes have an incredible amount of room - but I wanted the bottom box and the seller would not separate them. The buyer must be able to come and get the box.
I know it's tough to sell a top box by itself, so I'm also floating the idea of building a rolling cart for it and selling the whole package, cart and box. The cart would be welded together from mostly 3" square tube and would use the same Faultless casters that come on the Snap On roll cabinets. It would be powdercoated black to match the top box and would feature a large open space under the box to store large tool cases (such as for drills and other power tools) or whatever you fancy. The price would probably become about $3000 for the cart and box. Would there be any interest in that sort of thing? It would take a couple weeks to build the cart, plus/minus a few days depending on the powdercoater.
