I bought this little guy a few years ago before I really began dye leak diagnosis. It's rediculously well designed and BRIGHT! he blue led's light up a huge area and the two purple uv led's pick up any trace of dye in any fluids, refrigerent, etc. It's very small & compact for its' lighting output.
However good it is, I hardly use it anymore due to my larger and flexible uv lights I now use way more.
What Snap On wants now is rediculous and I remember paying about as much as the $75 "sale" price. I'd like to get $35 shipped. It also needs new batteries as the old ones are wearing out. I forget the actual model of the lithium batteries, but let's just day that they've lasted almost 4.5 years w/o replacement, even from the accidental "leave-on" from time to time.
It comes w/ the canvas pouch/holder and the aluminum housing is MINT!
