I am selling a Snap On 3 box set which includes:
Top - KRA-61G
Mid - KRA-461B
Bottom - KRA-307G

Reduced Price - $650.00 OBO
These boxes are 1983 vintage and are in pretty good condition. There was quite a few stickers on the top box that have been removed. There are some small spots where the paint has chipped and lite surface rust has started. One drawer in the lower box has an area of surface rust about 5"x6". Other than that its pretty clean. Needs just a bit more cleaning and a good buff job and this is a pretty nice set. I will post more closeup pics later this evening. $650. I live near Joliet / Minooka, IL. PM me if interested.

Re: FS: SO KRA Box Set - more pics

more pics of the box set

The left side is chipped the most, thats why I put the pic on here. The front, back and right side are nice. All drawers are real good shape besides the one with rust.

Dimensions are:

Top-31"x15"x17 tall
Middle-31x15x10.5 tall
Bottom - 31x21x36.5 tall (from floor)

They're just slides I believe but they do slide really smooth and easy. I better check them again just to make sure.

Did tool boxes have roller bearings in '83??

They did (not sure about Snap-On and that model), one picture clearly shows friction slides (top box) but check all of them to be sure.

Checked, All three boxes have slides. None of them bind up, they are very smooth.

I would imagine a box with roller bearings in '83 was big $$$$$.

Don't think there were any. I have an '85 KR560 that has one roller bearing drawer, the other fifteen drawers are friction. I think you need to get to around 1990 before you started seeing a lot of roller bearing boxes.
