Going with a repurposed 40x75x12 clear span building. 5" rebar reinforced 4000# concrete, radiant heat flooring.

There will be a 15'x40' office\shop area with 8' OH door to the larger shop. The building came with 2 20x12 insulated overhead doors with Liftmaster operators. I will only be using one of them. Adding 2 man doors.. one to the main shop and one to the office area.

The office area will house the slop sink, radiant heat gear and a large amount of Newage Pro 3.0 cabinets. I'm thinking of using their stone LVP in this area as well. Seems like pretty robust flooring.

I bought a 15k WHIP Industries 4 post lift with rolling jacks that is awaiting it's turn for install.

FSJs from 1969-1988 are unmongst my current projects.

Can't wait to finally have a lift.. I'm too old these days to be crawling under trucks any more than I have to.

My shell (repurposed metal structure, new stick and roof) is now complete and while away on vacation I'm starting my plan on best setup of the building. It will be used mostly to work on and store my Full Size Jeep collection. I haven't really had a building like this before as my main home garage is your standard attached 2 garage affair with family storage over-flow mostly. I want to set this shop up as effective and efficiently as possible.

The main shop will be 60'x40' with a 15k WHIP 4 post lift with roller jacks straight in from the OH 12'5'"x20' insulated door. There are no windows and one man door. Eventully I will build a lean-to style extension to the long side and back of the building for a bbq area, etc.
I have a 60 gallon upright compressor with 2 Rapidair kits to install so I need to figure out where to put the drops.
Soon I plan to buy or build a nice welding table once I figure out what I need. I have a new welder and plasma cutter (Hobart's) so a fair amount of time will be learning and using these for rust and fabrication fun. I need to figure out where to put the dedicated outlets to minimize the use of heavy duty extension cords.
HF become my friend early in the spring. I bought a couple 44" base boxes with side lockers, 1 upper, etc. and a 5 drawer cart. These should be plenty to hold my mix of Kobalt, Icon, Tekton and USA Craftsman and small spattering of Snap-on tools from a job long, long ago.
LED lighting and outlets are next on the contractor list. I need to get him going on where to place all the outlets and switches. Debating between all the various high-bay options vs. 4' or 8' LED fixtures.
Due to budget I am holding off on the closed cell insulation I was hoping to get done now. Prices are $10k-$19k for this and honestly I didn't plan on spending over $10k on the radiant floor but opted to get it roughed in and buy the boiler and valves now while I could before the concrete was poured.

The smaller, walled off "office" will be 15'x40'. There will be a loft built over this area as well for storage. The demising wall will have a re-purposed 8' OH door seperating the two areas. This "office" will also have a man door to the outside.
This room will have my utilities (radiant heater boiler, valves, etc.), shop sink, in-wall AC
Last year I made some purchases of a bunch of NewAge Pro cabinets (red and gray) with stainless and bamboo tops. Pic shown of with some these cabinets in my reloading room from my last place. Never really got them fully seutp before deciding to buy something closer to home that I could use more often.

What "stations" should I look to setup? Think vices, grinders, bead\media blasters, etc.

I am jumping into this knowingly with both feet with neither firmly planted on the ground. Trying to take advantage of this work from home through 2020 to get as much done as possible vs. taking it little by little and figure it out as I go. This place is about about 2-2.5 hours from home but is a nice homebase for hunting and other outdoor activities along the Mississippi river.

Any thoughts, ideas or anything really would be appreciated.

One issue with the repurposed galvanized metal is there was some mastic type material that got on the panels. Seems like gel Goof Off worked to loosen and scrap it off but wondering if there is something I can spray on and maybe pressure wash off vs scraping by hand?

Any ideas?
