Found a guy selling 36 2x2 ceiling fixtures that take FT40 Bulbs. my only reservation is the bulb type

-any experience on these
-Are they readily available at hardware and box stores

Also the ballast - Triad class p type 1 outdoor ballast

- Is this the fuzzy radio type??

They are available,it's just a normal 4 foot fluorescent light with the bulbs bent. T12 bulbs, not sure if it would interfere with radio since I only had it happen once and they were t8s

Thanks mustang. I talked to a buddy and he had them at his work. He didn't have any issues or problems with them. I will probably get the lights this weekend

FT40s aren't "U" bulbs. They're "Biax" 4 pin CFLs and are readily available. FB40s are the "U" bulbs. If FB40s are what you're looking at, pass. The bulbs have been phased out.

My local hardware store had the FB and not the FT. I am going to end up getting 12 of these lights. I will have to order or call around to some electrical suppliers
