I have to remove the fuel injectors on my 3.8l town and country in order to replace the o rings. While i'm at it i figured i will clean them. What the preferred way to clean them while i have them out? Something like this?

it all comes down to the pattern they are spraying when you are done. I used to send mine to Witch Hunter Performance in WA but Gordon retired 2 years ago. He recommends Advanced Injector in Wichita Kansas https://advancedinjector.com . I have not used him but he sounds good. $24 an injector. Last injectors I did, someone had some NOS ones for sale still in original boxes on ebay. I forget what voltage I used to be sure each one clicked. Might have used the car itself. They can stick after years of none use. In the car itself, techron (PEA) works well.

Whenever I have mine or my son’s out for some repair reason I hook up a 9 volt dry cell battery to open one and spray some cleaner through it. Sometimes you can see the pattern change a bit doing this. I have an adapter I made to attach the spray can directly to the injector.

I've used a 9V battery momentarily on some older ones that are 5V. Use WD40 in them when done so they remain loose.

Acetone from a pressurized cannister and cycle them.
Same here with an exception. I’ll set my air regulator to 50 psi and blow them out.

Can they be submerged in carb cleaner in an ultrasonic? I've never had to do more than a bottle of Lucas in the gas.

A bottle of this in the gas tank at every oil change.
Buy your gasoline from a Top Tier fuel retailer.
You'll never need to "clean" your injectors.

Direct-injection vehicles will still develop deposits on the intake valves, and no fuel additive is going to help with that. But Throttle-body injection or "Port/sequential" injection will allow the Techron to clean the intake valves, too.

This product was also sold as a private-label "ACDelco" item. It's GM-recommended.
