fuel line disconnect tools

Whats a good set to get. I mostly work on gm vehicles but i suppose i wouldnt hurt to have a set. I saw a big set from astro that was 40. I should add i dont have a ton of money just a diy'er.

The Lisle tools have always worked well on my Fords, so I wouldn't hesitate to buy them for a GM as some of the tools overlap manufacturers.

You should be fine with lisle straight and angle plastic sets on gm fords are another animal thou I have the lisle 39800 set myself but the 2 plastic strips are all you really need thou

More important than having the disconnect tools is using proper technique when fighting with the disconnects:lol:

A shot of compressed air followed by a little WD40 will save you frustration and maybe a little blood:beer:

I for one wouldn't mind a tutorial on how to disconnect fuel lines and the proper use of the tools.;)

I've been using an Astro set with metal tools for years, The plastic ones seem to wear out or break quickly, ymmv.
