OK I have an older fuel oil furnace that was rebuilt last year with new pump & blower.

It currently has a 0.90-80A nozzle and I thought I ordered the same, it came yesterday and it is a 0.90-80B nozzle that I purchased.

What is the difference?
Can I use the B?

0.90 = Fuel rate
80 = Angle
Not sure what the A&B designate.

Thanks in Advance!

B is a solid nozzle stream. A is a hollow cone so there is no oil spraying in the center. Think of a reversed funnel. Sorry not sure if you should interchange them. I always use the factory spec one

They are not interchangeable, and only the manufacturer specified nozzle should be used. Serious problems can develop from changing from a hollow spray pattern to a solid. Get the correct one installed.

Thanks, I did find a good description of the differences and ordered the correct nozzle.

I have to go back and look at my previous order and make certain they did not ship me the incorrect one.

You should be able to get the manual with specification ... some have it on a nameplate. Also-- there is a derating limit that varies depending on both burner and chamber. With many (most) oil units oversized it can be beneficial to derate them to achieve a longer burn -- but it must be done correctly.
