They sold you three cans of overpriced fuel to cover the extended warranty cost. They’re not asking you to use the fuel, just purchase it.
There is no ethanol-free gas available where I live, and after years of hard starting and rotted fuel lines I started using engineered fuel in my small 2-stroke engines-----works great, easy starts, no mixing of gas/oil, no concerns about long-term storage, etc. The 3 cans of Husqvarna-branded fuel cost me about $5 more than my usual brand, so I call that a cheap extended warranty.

I use nothing but ethanol free gas when storing the bikes and never had an issue

Any time I thought the bikes were going to sit more than a couple of weeks, I drained the bowls... Kawi carbs are notorious for small orifices and passages that clog when you look at them the wrong way.

PS if you have a friendly small airport close by, see if you can get 100LL for small engine use.

That stuff never goes bad

Ethanol has its issues, the main one being it is hygroscopic, so it actually pulls moisture out of the air and it ends up in your tank but more importantly in the float bowl of small engines where is fowls up the jets.

I agree fuel stored in a sealed air tight container will last years, just like sealed brake fluid but once it is exposed to the atmosphere is starts absorbing water.
In ancient times, before Ethanol enhanced fuel, we in the frozen north had to add gas line anti-freeze. Gas line anti-freeze was alcohol.

Ethanol allows the water to be absorbed and then burned. Non-Ethanol fuel allows the water to drop out and freezes.

You gotta love the logic in thinking the mfr'er of Stabil is a good source for Stabil myth debunking.

I use no alcohol premium gas with stabilizer and TCW3 (1 oz per 5 gallons) in all my bikes and small engines. Never had so much as a clogged idle jet.
