Fuel tank adapter for jack?

I have to drop another fuel tank on a silverado. For years I just manhandled tanks up into place but it was a pain, especially when you have to drop it a little and unhook lines or electrical connectors. A couple years back I bought the harbor freight motorcycle/atv jack https://www.harborfreight.com/1500-...upYme-gUAXdnziCZB5_QnFXLyRhv3utQaAjH6EALw_wcB. It worked pretty good. I also have the harbor freight 2000 pound transmission jack but the motorcycle jack has a bigger surface area and has rubber padding on the top. Wondering if anyone has made or bought an adapter for fuel tanks and if so how much nicer it is?

Here are a couple examples, https://www.amazon.com/John-Industries-JDI-FTA7-Fuel-Adapter/dp/B07BFMPL2W/?tag=atomicindus08-20

I just did the fuel tank in my jeep and I used the Harbor Freight Hydraulic Table Cart. I couldn't believe how easy it made the job.

I have the FTA7. That's about all I use my shoddy transmission jack for. Almost all my complaints are jack related.

It's "universal" fit meaning it fits nothing, I think I opened the mounting slot area up on my jack slightly to allow it to bolt up, I did need hardware to do so. I don't believe there's a perfect solution for so many types of tanks, this tool has done well for me.

I have the HF motorcycle jack and the HF hydraulic table... they both work great to remove jeep tanks.

The motorcycle jack would likely work better on the Silverado... I don't think it hangs down like the Jeep tanks do.

The adaptors you link would probably work better than my version but for occasional use that’s a lot of money
I remove the saddle on my floor jack, install an adaptor I made that’s basically a piece of pipe welded to a flat plate with bolt hoLes drilled in it.
This adaptor, bolted to an appropriately sized piece of plywood, side rails if desired, and the necessary spacers to keep the tank level and I’m in business.

You mean that holding the tank with one forearm and both knees while lying in the mud on your back and struggling to get the straps on and nuts started by feel isn't the best way?
That's how I used to do it but I'm getting older and don't like struggling much anymore. The older I get the more willing I am to spend money on things that make life easier. Glad to hear from 2ndgear that the FTA7 works decent. I will be ordering one. Check out this OTC one, can't justify that much but it looks a lot nicer. If I had time and shop all set up I would make my own copying the OTC design but for now I think the 160 dollar one will do.

I made brackets out of 2x2 square tube and some cut up angle iron that bolts to the top of the trans jack.
We usually use 2 people to drop them but I made provisions to attach 1" nylon straps if needed.
