How about some more details?

What truck?

Do you want it below the bed rails?

Do you plan to fuel tractors and equipment or just extend range?

Removable or not?

Do you want a toolbox with it or not?

Are you doing this to haul a fifth wheel?

You get it, we need more information.

I just installed an RDS in a 2008 Dodge and I really like it. Baffled inside, really good locking cap (vented), heavy gauge aluminum, fairly priced. Their install kit for draining into the main worked perfect as well.

One thing to keep in mind. Dodges have two vents on the top of the factory tank that leak when you install any auxiliary tank and the factory tank is completely full. They are barbed so you can attach a piece of 3/8 hose and raise the vent level. I pull the vent hoses up inside the bed to the top of the rail and secure them.

RDS has about a million models, look on Amazon or Northern Tool.

For transfer pumps I only use Fill-Rite.

I agree with this.

I did the research on aux fuel tanks for my 2006 Ford PSD F-350 way back in late 2005/early 2006. I selected the RDS unit due to it's capacity, size and shape (wide and tall so it didn't take up valuable bed space) and it's very simple gravity feed system. I bought the tank and gravity feed after I ordered my F-350, but before it was delivered and I paid for it.

I bought the tank from the local RDS dealer and , since I ordered it as part of their normal shipment from RDS, I got shipping free (would have been $100 or so if not). I bought the gravity feed system from NT.

This is the 90 gallon tank I bought (72118 near the bottom): http://www.rdsaluminum.com/auto-transfer.html

I had some questions on their tanks and the gravity feed system (legality) and I called RDS; they were very responsive and helpful, I was very pleased with their service. When I called Transfer Tanks (www.$$$$.com), they were pleasant and helpful - until I mentioned gravity feed systems and then they broke apart like a cheap watch. Talk about Jekyll and Hyde! I would never buy from Transfer Flow, I despise liars and their intentionally deceptive advertising.

Good luck!
