Full automatic brake bleeders (OEM-like)

Hi,

does anyone have/has used and OEM-recommended brake bleeder? For example VW calls for something like this per ERWIN:

Compared to a traditional bleeder, this one should allow for higher pressure (i.e. at least 2 BAR for ABS units), pulses during the bleeding phase, and as far as I gather, may be fully automatic, i.e. you hook up the bleeder to the brake fluid reservoir and to the furthest caliper... and the bleeder takes care of the rest?

Any experience, tips, ideas... and recommendations?

Looks like these machines are just high-pressure professional versions of the generic pressure bleeders... or am I missing something?

i don't think either of the units linked are widely available in the USA. At work we use a powerprobe unit which I believe is German made.

many shops use the brake flush machine sold by their favorite snake oil salesman BG Products, Granitize, wynn, etc.
