I was reading up on full broadcast flake earlier this week. I found a calculator and ran my numbers through it and it spit out a recommendation of over 200lbs of flake!!!
Thinking that had to be wrong I did some more digging and found a few pieces of information that backs this up. Seems a formula of (sqft)÷(5 or 6) gives you the pounds you need, which in my case is over 200lbs...
1050÷5=210
So my questions are:
How much flake would I need if my goal is to make the gaps in the flake the same size as the flake itself (1/4") or smaller?
And will the additional flake require more top coat? If so how much more would I go with?
Thanks Guys
