I need some boards to build a picnic table.
Instead of 2x10 PT I want to go with "rough cut", full dimension lumber (actually 2" by 10"), 8' long. Pine is probably all I can afford. The only place I can imagine that I could get this is a sawmill.
I've got a belt sander so I can smooth them down. Then I plan on putting on a couple of coats of linseed or tung oil.
Anyone know of any sawmills South and East of Clare ? Or have a home sawmill and some big pine logs ? I would prefer dried, not green wood.
