Not sure if I trusted that website... my firewall blocks it. and a quick google search shows they were shared hosted in shopify Canada.

I am not even sure if this comment in that abuse link is talking about this website. So I would be very very weary of ordering from them. at least that is me. They do host a lot of legit small businesses...

The site appears to be legitimate. Shopify is a legitimate ecommerce platform many sellers use instead of building their own ecommerce site. They show a USA address and phone number. They take Paypal and credit cards unlike the scam sites.

Scam sites usually have a lot of misspellings and prices too good to be true. They generally use a generic website template and leave a lot of the stuff blank. They usually want to be paid by gift cards or some other method where you can't recover your money.

My issue with this site is the respirators appear to be ****. They don't appear to have any real certifications. They are generic Chinese respirators imported by this company. The particulate filter cartridges even have KN100 printed on them which is a Chinese standard. I would trust my lungs to these products personally.

Brand name respirators may still be made in China, but they will often be designed and tested in the USA with strict quality control over the imports.

Prices are high also, even Zoro is half those prices for name brand respirators.

Please post up an "equal model" respirator from Zoro because I can’t find one. :dunno:

The site is 100% legit and a friend of mine has ordered (and received) several full face respirators from Parcil Safety and he was happy with the quality. He uses them for spraying.

Which brand name full face respirator can you buy for $50? The last 3M full face respirator I bought cost around $100. (No, I am not buying one of these respirators.)

I was looking at half mask respirators, looks like you meant full mask and I missed that part. The sale applies to all respirators, according to their website.

That source does have high prices for half masks, full masks are comparable or a little higher than name brand at Zoro. Not suggesting Zoro as a source necessarily, their prices are high too.

For example:
https://www.zoro.com/msa-msa-advantage-200-half-mask-m-815692/i/G0144654/

https://www.zoro.com/msa-chemical-cartridge-bayonet-ov-black-niosh-approved-815355/i/G0950074/

https://parcilsafety.com/collections/half-face-respirators/products/t61-gas-mask-respirator

https://www.zoro.com/honeywell-north-northtm-5400-full-face-respirator-ml-54001/i/G1205163/

https://parcilsafety.com/products/st100x-gas-mask-respirator

If you and your friend are comfortable with uncertified safety equipment, that is your choice. I had friends who got sick, injured, and died from using uncertified safety equipment. One of the deaths was specifically from toxic fumes, where an off-brand respirator cartridge did not provide the claimed protection.

I prefer to pay less for certified equipment that I can trust, my health is worth that to me, but that is my choice.

same here. but beyond that, certified or not, i pretty much only trust top name brands for PPE. 3M is already cheap enough for me.

The thread is about full face masks based on the title. Yes, you can get better masks elsewhere for the same as the regular prices here. This is Hot Deals and the whole reason the OP started the thread is because Parcil Safety had all their masks at two for one pricing. You buy one and you get two.

Now, I would never purchase anything from this site. I own 3M half and full face respirators that are certified and I trust to actually work.

Well I ordered TWO for my son who lives and works in NYC to "have on hand" just in case he needs to "bail out" out of the area like 9-11 or some anarchy where gas, dust or tear gas could be present...... Better than nothing!
Ordered these masks on Wednesday and received them this morning so the site is 100% legit.

"IF" you want to buy, go ahead and purchase....... "IF NOT" move on.

I posted this as a "HOT DEAL"....... Not to create a product bashing thread.

With this purpose in mind, that is actually an awesome idea! I would be doing the same. Which model did you buy, and how's the quality?

It doesn’t say it’s NIOSH approved. I wouldn’t touch it. I hope all works out for you.

It isn’t much of a hot deal if the product is poorly made. I certainly like deals, but I won’t buy poorly made items just because they are cheap.

I didn't post to bash any product or deals, just something alarms me when I click onto that link and its ip gets blocked by firewall that pulls a list of ip from internet banned lists.

Ordering from a legitimate site that is shared hosted on the same server of an ip that have been reported to be phishing/hacking activity worries me a lot. Maybe the phishing is not from this legitimate site, you just don't know what have been compromised on that server. Customer Data? Credit card Data, processes ? etc.

Shopify is known to host for small businesses btw, but that also includes many fly by nights.

that have reports of complains as of

:wtf: AMAZING how you guys know these respirators are "poorly made" if you never saw or held one OR the site is a "FALSE RETAILER"

The important point is that they are not certified or approved - so they are, by definition, not safe to use.

Safety equipment that misleads one into thinking it is protecting them when it actually is not is worse than no safety equipment at all.

This are not a "hot deal" given that the pricing is at best comparable to regular pricing on brand names alone, let alone that they are not safe to use.

Again, you are welcome to your opinion and to follow unsafe work practices if you want.
