Full size truck too wide for Direct Lift PP8S or BendPak HD-7P?

I've been eying up the Pro Park 8S for a while now, mostly for wrenching on and storage of my Miata. I want to be able to use it for my other vehicles as well, which includes a K1500 extended cab 6.5ft bed.

I'm curious if anyone has put the same truck up on a PP8S lift? According to my measurements it will be an extremely tight fit lengthwise, and approx 2-3" too narrow for the width of the tires. Same goes for the HD-7P. A Pro Park 9 and HD-9 would be possible, but might be a tighter fit in my garage bay.

The measurements are so close, I was just wondering if someone had actually put a similar truck up on these lifts?

I guess this partially answers my question, but the description doesn't say if they're using the 8S or 8 plus long

The heaviest I have now is a 4runner but I was looking at the 9+. Can the 8+ be that much less?

The way I figured it was when the time comes to sell I'll have a larger market to appeal to.

Compared to the 9+, the 8+ is 18" more narrow and 11.5" shorter in overall length (runways are 8" shorter). The 8+ also has 17" less drive thru width.

The 8s would fit best in my garage - with the column height of the 8s, they would actually fit under my garage door tracks as-is and I think I would just have to do is relocate the opener to the side of the door and save tons of cash over installing a high rise door setup. So going with a higher capacity lift will cost more to purchase, will probably cost more in the garage door mods, and might be unnecessary for my vehicles.

That being said, I only want to buy a lift once which is why this is a really hard call.

My ceiling is 10.5' tall and assuming I moved the garage door tracks and opener out of the way I would think that would be enough room to move around underneath it on a rolling chair, although it would be close.
