Hello! My wife and I just closed on our new home that we had built in Fulshear, TX (southwest suburb of Houston). The garage is a 3-car, tandem style. Nothing really fancy about it yet other than a nice, tall ceiling.
I use my garage space for a multitude of things...golf cart building, Jeep building, wood work, metal fab, hobbies, hobbies, hobbies.

Tomorrow, the crew comes out to do the floor. I am having a polyaspartic coating done. This is a more durable product to epoxy, but will have a similar look. I selected the "domino" base coat and flake color option.
All of my garage gear/tools are currently loaded into a pod style container that will be moved over to the house tomorrow as well. The floor only needs 24 hours to cure before I start using it; however, I have several days to get things moved in before the container is hauled off for good.

I taped off the walls for a paint job. The lower section (including base board) will be painted a light/medium grey, similar to the grey in the floor chip. The first tape line will be removed to reveal a 2" white stripe, and the section above that will be a 4" black line. Up from there will remain the existing white.

For lighting, I fell into the hexagon lights. I was not 100% on board with them because they are trendy; however, my wife really likes them, and they will put off a ton of light. I ordered three sets of the 15'x8' kits. For about $500 to the door, we'll see how it goes.
Behind the boxes, you can see my new Ego electric mower and weedeater (already have a blower). Our yard is much smaller, so I decided it was time to ditch the gas equipment.

Right before the sheetrock went in, I ran speaker wire for four in-ceiling speakers. I have been using a pair of floorstanding speakers but I wanted a cleaner look and less clutter in this setup. I have used Monoprice speakers before, so I went with another two pair of 8" coaxial speakers I have not used this particular model, but I know they will satisfy my needs in this space.
I will get them installed once the lights are in place. I have more flexibility with the speakers than the lights, so I will wait on them to get the spacing just right.

Aside from the new stuff, I have some Gladiator cabinets and work bench that will be going in. I have had them for several years. They do a good job of hiding all of the stuff
.
The tall cabinets will go along the right wall in the single bay area. The work bench and tool chest will go across from those on the left.
Eventually, I plan to build a set of cabinets along that wall with a built-in miter station.
Prior to the move, I sold my large welding/fab table. I plan to downsize to a table/cart style that will also store my smaller Lincoln welder. I also have a larger Millermatic, so I am looking forward to declutterring all that into fewer items.
Plenty more, but I will update as it all goes together.
