I let mine drain into my drain oil drum, wash then in the Safety Kleen parts washer, wash off with brake cleaner then store in a plastic container.

Ok ill say it... i chuck mine in whatever bucket or drain pan is closest. Eventually I shove both under my toolbox, but not always.

I have a piece of flat bar bent in a 90°, inverted "L" screwed to the wall. Out on the end is a piece of all thread going upwards. I stick the funnels on this all thread.

The funnels can drain down through each other and finally drop into the waste oil drum directly below it.
I took a few pictures of mine. KIMG3255.JPG

Drips into the waste oil barrel.

I have a 2-gallon bucket that all my various funnels are tossed into with a piece of Pig mat at the bottom. Never felt the need for anything more sophisticated.

Mine are in two different spots in garage.
Engine oil and gear oil ones go into a large oil drain pan.

Others I use for coolant/transmission fluid/other jobs go into a large coolant drain pan.

They all get wiped down after use, brake cleaner used as needed.

I wipe them out with a blue shop towel, and let them drip into one of these for a few months weeks days. Then I wipe them again with a Tub O Towel and they go into a storage bin with my 20 other funnels.

Hard to believe only two others here are using a system like this, in my opinion this is the only organized efficient way. 👍
Storing them in bags and buckets? Seriously guys? 😂
Only thing I would change here is each funnel would be covered with a rag to keep the dust and stuff out.
Yeah it's organized and efficient but seems way overkill for what is a really simple problem with a cheap solution....wipe it out and hang it somewhere, call it good.

But this is GJ where we dig this stuff it seems

I'm too lazy and usually too pissed off about a mess I just made to care about funnel storage. They get set on the oil drain pan for awhile the tossed on a shelf that is covered by two layers of rags. Once in awhile I'll take them to the parts washer and run solvent through them then a flash of brake cleaner, but they go back on the rag covered shelf.

Funnel storage? I usually just carefully pour the fluid into whatever cavity I am aiming for, usually starting off with great success and then the GLUG, GLUG happens and it spills everywhere, lol. Saves me the worry of using a dirty funnel, and the effort of cleaning it up. My last oil change on my freshly sealed asphalt driveway has convinced me to change my ways. I have been doing the same with the new EPA gas cans that you need 3 hands and 5 curse words to use, I just take the spout off and dump, figuring success is only losing 1/4 gallon out of 5. But here I am, reading a funnel storage thread after my last messy oil change. I bought my Dad a Tera Pump because he's in his 80's, and it works great, I just ordered myself one and will toss my Harbor Freight pumps. When they do work, they are very slow. New year, new ways, hahaha. I really like the disposable funnel idea, and I use squeezable bags for gear oil.

I generally clean out the drain pan and store funnels and grease gun in there. The extra funnels get put in a small recycling bin beside the drain pan. The funnels usually get a quick wash with brake clean before use. I also stuff used blue paper towels in the drain pan waiting for the next really dirty spill cleanup.

That's a great idea to store grease gun in the drain pan. Also a reminder to lube when changing the oil! Whatcha got there 4x4Pete? 8N?
