We changed the Trans filter and fluid in sons car and when we were filling it back up, the fluid kept backing up in the tube and we’d have to wait for it to burp or it would fill The funnel and leak between the fill to be and the funnel. My son said “ we need a straw to let air out“.
Turned out to be a great idea. We stuck a small vacuum hose in it and put the top through the hole in the funnel. This kept it in place and the fluid flowed in without backing up. IMG_1204.jpegIMG_1205.jpeg

My funnel has a groove where the discharge ends is. Wish they would do that on all funnels

If you have a 3d printer, there are a bunch of turbo funnels on thingieverse.

That works. If you don't have a piece of hose handy, you can lift the funnel slightly so that air can escape between the funnel and the tube.
I bend a piece of mig wire and hang over the edge of the dipstick tube. Same when pouring used oil into the empty jug. Some of my funnels have ribs on the outside for this but not all.
