This seems more like a "pet peeves" thread. When considering buying something on Amazon, I always look briefly at the 1 star reviews. If they come from people who clearly don't have a clue, it makes me more likely to purchase.
I used to have a friend who was a big fan of plugged in online. She told me about the site and aside from it being a bit of a spoiler, it was great for finding all the movies with cussing, violence, and ****** to go see. She being "a bit" of a Bible thumper, was not impressed.

Another type I see sometimes is people who bought the wrong size:

Tool (e.g. pliers) comes in 5 sizes. They bought size 3. Turns out it's bit too small for what they needed it for... 2-star review.
Ive seen some people recently complaining and giving a bottle jack i bought 1 star for it not going high enough to lift their car up. Even though it specifically says the max height it will go up to.

You can tell how high it will jack you up if you read the bottle alcohol content. By the way most people say Jack Bottle not Bottle Jack for Jack Daniels

I had a service call to a Newell facility. When I was done I asked the guy for a mini brute can. One of my prized possessions. And I got to see the press that made the full size can. Very impressive machine.

I always asked for free stuff when I visited cool places. I took some boxes of girl scout cookies one time :)

A buddy of mine went to school with Tom Letica. Letica corp produced probably 90% of the 5 gal plastic buckets back then, and Tom was now President. My buddy brought back signed bucket lids to give all his carpenter friends. I have no idea what became of mine.

A buddy of mine from 30 years ago was (and apparently still is) married to a woman whose name I found on the bottom of a bucket. I asked him about any relationship between the two, he smiled coyly and said nothing.
