Anyone else order a furnace lately and receive a middle of Dec delivery date? Just wondering if this is an industry wide problem.

Definitely some covid related plant shutdowns that impacted components as well as complete units. Depending on model there will be some extended leadtimes and shortages this heating season.

Yeah, that's what the seller is saying.

We are seeing some models and sizes in short supply, we normally don't stock many furnaces as we can normally get anything either same day or next day, this year lots of stuff has had a lead time longer then normal.

We had 8 or 10 furnaces delivered this week and they had to be shipped from multiple locations, normally they would ship from one regional warehouse not multiple warehouses across the country.

Multiple brands are in the same boat, my boss just bought a new house that was already built, we will be swapping out the basic single stage equipment for a modulating furnace and AC, the contractor that did the house said he will buy back the equipment since he is having some issues getting equipment right now.

Depends on where you're located,if you're reasonably close to Nebraska I could get one for you through my supplier.

I appreciate the offer, a 2,200 mile trip is almost tempting. Cuz I'm going to be freezing my nushkins off by mid Dec. + install time.

I ordered mine from H-Mac systems. They were great to work with. They are a drop shipper, so it's up to the manufacturer, but they got mine to me in a reasonable time. (It's a Modine PTC-65, set up for propane).

all types of stuff are in short supply .... I'm looking at 8 weeks for my refrigerator.

My AC guys ordered all my equipment very early -- just after the shutdown reopened so they go equipment in the pipeline .. not new manufacturing
