Hey guys I'm kinda a new guy around here, just really gathering ideas.

But I was wondering if I could get some help with my house Furness. For some strange reason it has stopped working. I checked if the pilot light is still and it's good. I checked the batteries on the thermostat and they are good. Is there anything else y'all can think of or any help?

there are a gazillion reasons a furnace would stop working, did you check the breaker? Most common I've seen is not putting the cover on properly after replacing the filter. Most have a cut-off switch on the filter cover.

Not knowing what kind, how old, etc. your furnace is, it's hard to troubleshoot from the 'net.

I understand, I was just seeing if there were some other common problems.

Try giving the gas valve a tap. Might be stuck? Thermocouple might be on its way out.Like said above can be a few things.

You don't say what type of furnace but my high efficiency quit sometime overnight and woke up to 58º this AM. It would try to start and shutdown at about 5 minute intervals. After checking everything inside I went outside and found the air intake for the burner frosted shut. After thawing that out it started right up. Hope yours is something simple too.
