Been awhile since I've done any electrical work thankfully. Now I can't remember - for something I need to fuse, does the fuse go one the positive or negative? Thx
They're right about the fuse on the positive side in dc, but keep in mind that the positive side is the ground on some cars. It's not common, but the old ones are out there. If it's an old vehicle, be sure it's not positive ground.
Pretty much covered it all here! Nissan has a good point - once I got my 46 Merc, it took me quite a while to get used to checking if it was positive ground! So now, on old cars (unfamiliar to me), I quickly trace the path of the positive - if it goes to the block or not.
