Needing to get a set up for fuses, co worker has the fuse saver and i like it. Just a reset-able circuit breaker. But I see the fuse buddy on the matco truck but I can't find much information about what it is supposed to do. Does any one have it?

The fuse buddies don't have a breaker but do have a slot for the fuse you remove in the side of the adapters. So they actually provide better circuit protection than a one size fits all breaker.

Personally I got the ones with 4mm DMM test leads rather than the ammeter version. That way I can use them with amp ranges on a DMM, or couple them together for use with an amp clamp.

Can hook them to a test lamp which'll act as a fuse saver for hunting down intermittent shorts to ground. Might have to disconnect the load for this depending on how large it is relative to the lamp.

Picture of the DMM style I use which shows where the fuse goes.

Per the Matco website it looks like nothing more than a dumbed down meter with fuse style connectors, it’s just a tester not a breaker.]

That's the gist I got but wanted to be sure I wasn't missing something
