Greetings:

I have a couple drops of 12" steel pipes that have what I assume is a fusion bonded epoxy coating on the exterior. Can this pipe be used for a grill or other purpose or is it just scrap for the next load?

Thanks

Careful! Research heavily. Some when heated or mixed with a paint stripper emit cyanide like gas.

not sure on use for grills, but in the pipe line world the FBE coating is very commonly burned off with a torch or removed with a grinder to weld shorter pieces or other pipeline needs.
