If you really want to open your eyes, go to verticalscopes website and see how many forums they own now. (this includes motorcyle.com, pirate4x4, and many many others)
They own over 300 forums now. It takes money to keep the forums going.

Having read a similar post on the HAMB about this I believe Ryan is still passionate about the other forums that make up his business and he just did not have an interest in the motorcycles.
Life is full of constant change some we like and some we do not.
If the sale the Jockey Journal allows Ryan more time for what he enjoys and that is the other forums he runs then I am sure the decision was in his best interest and for those members on that forum. I am also sure this should include his own time with his family.
