My DCS380 was not running consistently
It had to wiggle the battery to get it to run and things were getting worse
After cleaning the contacts failed to improve the situation I contacted www.toolservicenet.com and the tech guy recommended a new switch
I received the switch and tore the saw apart to install it and found it was not the contacts (see pics)
After a 1 minute solder job it's running like new
I feel dumb because I should have diagnosed the problem before ordering anything but I thought it was the battery failing to make good contact
And they're charging me a 25% restock fee
Lesson learned
Hopefully someone else can benefit
