From what I have read in other posts two negatives are: (1) tires will stain this mat and these tire stains are very difficult to remove (2) the material will expand and contract with the change in weather which can cause seems to seperate.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll pass on buying it. After all, the purpose of the matt was to keep the floor free of tire marks which this matt can't do.

I installed it on our garage attached to the house. I really have no problems with it and really don't notice the tire stains. I spoke with the owner of BLT and he says it is only certain types of tires that stain it. On;y problem I ran across is it curling in some places usually when the door is up ad the sun hits it but it falls back into place after the door is shut. I would use it again though.

I had it down for about a year and agree with what you said. The only thing that I would add is that the tire stains are impossible to remove.
