So in the process of getting my truss carriers put up this weekend I realized I did 2 things. I miss interpreted the picture and over engineered my gable end truss carriers. Has anybody in here seen, done, or been told that this way is better....The pole barn is 24x32

Per instructions: On you're eave walls you're going to use a total of 4 2x10x16s. 2 on the exterior and 2 on the interior. From the outside of the corner posts is 31'9". Each truss carrier is 16', so you hang 1 1/2 past the ends of the eave wall posts. So when you set your gable end trusses they're sitting right on the edges of the carriers. Seems okay to me, maybe a little sketchy to look at but it works.

What I did: I just continued to wrap around the exterior of the back end wall. So when I go to set the truss it's going to sit on the 2x10 the full width of the back. When I get to the front side, I'm planning on doing the same thing.... 6' 2x10 truss carrier on each side of where the R/O is for the sliding door.

While my way might be a little overkill, I'm open to opinions and comments about which way you'd do it.
P.S. I already know I should have looked at the drawing a little more carefully!
