Today I set out to adjust the chain tension on my sliding chamberlain gate out at the business. Needless to say Murphy intervened with his/her law.
As I snugged up the last adjuster (maybe more than snugged) the chain link tore through the bolt, leaving me with 0% chain tension
So a few hours later with the help of an angle grinder, Sawzall, Drill and Wrenches I have a well adjusted gate, but man was I sweating in fear of a non-operational gate. It looked like there was half a dozen more adjustments that could have been made, but tomorrow is another day.
Not as simple as I thought...
