Hi,
I have been looking to make an epoxy floor for my garage for sometime now. Recently I came across this video:
I'm trying to figure out how the person made it. I've been doing a lot of research online, and my thoughts so far is to:
1) Start with a thin black epoxy layer for the background
2) Use a thick layer of clear epoxy with AGT Pigment and some sticks/agitators to mix the sand/pigment and get the galaxy effect (my plan is to lay the clear coat first, then mix the pigment in after its been laid out, otherwise if we mix in beforehand we wont be able to get the same effect)
3) add another thin layer of clear epoxy coat to seal everything in
Has anyone built something close to this and can provide any tips? Is my approach for doing this a good one or am I missing something?
Finally, if anyone wants to recommend their favorite long lasting epoxy for their garage floor that would be awesome too.
Thanks all for the help!
