Gameroom Garage Floor

so since im building the shop in the backyard, i will now have the 2 car attached that we are turning into a gameroom/lounge type of room. we plan on a pool table couch, fridge. table with chairs etc. no more cars parked in the garage. the garage floor now is filthy, from fish fry's to leaking transmissions , you name it......i am looking for ideas to make this floor good again. there are no cracks in it. budget is about 500 bux. is its 360 sq ft. i am juggling between laminate tile....commercial office short carpet, tile, paint, epoxy coating, i dont know this is my first time doing this. we are excited about it and ready to dive in it, do it ourselves.......any advice?

I, too, have a gameroom garage and chose Armstrong VCT for the floor. I like the look and find it relatively easy to take care of (I actually park cars in the garage). You can install a nice vinyl composite tile floor if you shop around for the tiles and do the work yourself. Great deals can be found. Here is an article on VCT for garage floors that might help you out.

You can install a nice vinyl composite tile floor if you shop around for the tiles and do the work yourself. Great deals can be found. Here is an article on VCT for garage floors that might help you out.

I am not sure about using VCT in this garage any more than DIY epoxy or coating. Adhesion could be an issue. Products like interlocking garage floor tile, PVC tiles and roll out flooring were made for this application.

I think garage is not bad for child played games and etc but garage...... You can install a nice vinyl composite tile floor if you shop around for the tiles and do the work yourself.
