Gap in cement edge

So I didn’t see anything that was related to this. Just bought this property and the detached shop seems to have a gap from the cement to the wall. I feel like I’ve seen something to fix this but can’t remember what it was now.

any help would be great as you see water tends to wash up silt when it rains hard. That will be getting fixed on its own, but this still needs to be sealed up before insulation. C01F0411-81F5-4129-9AB8-9264056787EC.jpeg2742E26D-CA43-45EE-893A-E81A856E82BB.jpeg

That water can't be good for that post in the concrete. Need outside pictures to see how to fix. Looks like water isn't draining away from the bldg.

Does the concrete in the first pic with the 2 different wall panel lengths slope towards the bldg?

The yard in the other pics should be lower than the bldg & slope away. If that's not possible, I'd suggest installing a good french drain around the bldg & lowering the grade right at the bldg & adding gravel or concrete up two an inch or so below the bottom of the wall panels.

Once water sheds away from the bldg, expanding foam and/or plywood do patch up that little gap. Maybe steel wool if pests are a concern.

What kind of insulation?

Hopefully someone else chimes in with their suggestions.

Yes, that part slopes away and is also covered outside. Still an issue with being sealed up properly. I have the contact info for the builder of this building. I'll be in contact with him them in the next few weeks. Just wanted to see if there is a known way to fix this or "right the wrong."

as far as insulation, I'm not sure yet. Seems there is a lot of opinions for vapor barriers on metal buildings. Leaning towards foam board and great stuff to seal all small seems and then taping all seams. From there, I would use normal fiberglass batting.
