Hello everyone.
I have been registered on garage journal for several months but I had not presented my garage to you.
I'm french, I live in the Alps near Switzerland. In a house of the years 1930.
I have two garages. The first is a kind of museum where I arrange my collection of old enamelled signs and oil's cans. The second is my workshop where I restore my Volkswagen beetle which will be an offroad project.

I am fond of old things from vintage garage : addvertisments, cans, tools, gas pump and More. I started my collection 12 years ago by finding 3 big Enamelled signs. Since I seek in the old garages or at the edge of the roads. But more often, I buy in garage sale or on Internet.

Here a panel to hang the tools. It is a facom. This brand is prestigious in France because the tools are guaranteed for life

We will land in Atlanta at the end of may to spend a few days with one of my cousins, who live near Greenville SC. Then we set out again for Phoenix where we will rent a car to visit west: grand canyon, Albuquerque, Las Vegas, san fransisco and we will finish in Los Angeles in jun.

One year ago I decided to manufacture racks for my oil cans. I removed the huile labo's plate.




I welded squares with spider web style

This week i received a new advertisment from an old garage bought on eBay


It sayed " The garage is not responsible for freezing. Protect your engine with glaceol. The safe antifreeze which lasts.

This week i change one of my garage outdoor lamp.

Before, it was a halogen without charm

But, I found an old industrial lamp at the waste collection centre

First, i try to use my old halogen inside but it was not beautiful

So, I used a classical bulb and I manufactured a grid .... With spider web´s style


It´s night now so i'll take a picture tomorow
