Thanks for the updated shot of your castle. It sure looks like a great place to kick it far a few hours,. I'm fortunate that my wife likes collecting more than me. you know that I have a prowler too. It has just over 5k on it and I bought it new for my wife for mothers day in 02
I notice that you have a couple of small boat motors. I've been wanting to start collecting them but haven't pulled the trigger on any yet.
I don't recognize the name of your friend in the bodyshop but thanks for the follow up

Thanks Don, I really love my garage, it’s a great place to hang out. As far as the boat motors go, the Scott Atwater motor was purchased when I bought my bumper car. It was a fun restoration and the Johnson motor was given to me by my brother. He bought it from my uncle in 1971 so I remember seeing it in our garage when I was a kid. He gave it to me last summer so I restored it. Thank you for responding to my post, I hope to someday head out to the West Coast and maybe check out your place. Have fun!!

I've gone "all out Alien" lately! I like the car related signs and gas pumps and stuff but there's something about the 1950's sci-fi alien stuff that really makes me excited. I bought another reproduction alien to go along with the one I have in my bumper car but this time he's in "tourist mode" and to step up the game I found a "captured alien" display and redesigned it to another level. It's hanging in the garage to creep out some of the people who get weirded out but it. Have fun!

I thought I'd post a few changes to my place since it's January in Buffalo NY which means there's not a lot of outdoor time so I've kept busy with some new projects. First, I sold some stuff to make room for replacement stuff so here's the latest and greatest.

1. Sold (2) gas pumps and restored two more to replace them.
2. Thought it would be fun to restore a mini bike. It turns out that I had enough parts to build two of them!
3. I had one reproduction pedal car in my collection of three so I found a Murray pedal boat and restored it (then sold the reproduction).
4. Found a Shipman postage dispenser and cleaned it up (to go along with the two mailboxes).
5. Found an early 1950's Univendor Candy Machine and gave it a little loving.
6. Sold my Harley and bought another, got her all dolled up for this summer.
7. Probably the neatest toy I own right now, I found a restored 1981 San Diego Police motorcycle online and had it shipped to my place. Added the CHP graphics, changed the tires, rebuilt the brakes, changed the lights to flash better (with a wig-wag module) and changed the oil, adjusted the clutch, etc...

pics shown below.

Have fun everyone!!

Wow, I’ve posted before on how much I like your place but had to ask if you restored all of those awesome pumps you have. Really nice work if you did!

Yep… I manage a sign company so it’s kind of like being at work.

Thanks for commenting!

Wow what a great collection. How do you keep everything so clean. My shop is always dusty.

Thanks! I regularly walk around wiping down stuff and cleaning behind them. Most items are on carts so I can wheel things out the get behind and around them. I'll play some tunes and just clean up when there's nothing going on, it's relaxing.
